me

👋 Hola! I'm Dani. Today I'm a Principal Product Manager at CrowdStrike, where I work on Falcon LogScale and Falcon Next-Gen SIEM. Currently owning the federated search roadmap in the emerging federated SIEM space.

My career began in web and mobile front-end development, and I ran my own web and graphics design studio for nearly 12 years. That path led me into UI/UX and then product management, where I've spent the past decade on cloud-based IT and security software.

I moved into management at Automox, growing from Manager to Director of Product & Design and leading nine people across two departments, before returning to hands-on product work at CrowdStrike.

I was a Colorado Technology Association Luminary in 2015 and 2016. I have served on the advisory board for the graphics and design department at Pikes Peak State College since 2016, and I chair it today. My certifications include ITIL Foundation, Certified Scrum Product Owner and Performance Leadership.

I love lifting others as I climb. I mentor and coach designers and product professionals and take an active part in employee resource groups and community-building programs.

When I'm not crafting products, I'm usually gaming, and lately my friends and I have been working our way through Viking raids in Valheim. My love of adventure doesn't stop there: I'm a proud overlander, traversing the rugged Rocky Mountains with my family. I bring my Latina heritage into the kitchen, where you'll find me perfecting my latest batch of homemade hot sauce. 🌶️

I believe in harmony between work and life. It's during downtime that our brains work their magic, unraveling intricate problems in astonishing ways.
